Mat'Mar

Agrotourism farm  Mat’Mar operates all year round and is located by the lake in the Lednicki Landscape Park away from the urban hustle and bustle.

We are surrounded by greenery and an abundance of nature. The beauty and purity of the nearby lake captivates. Being there you can hear a wonderful singing of many bird species. The skimming trees will definitely have a relaxing and soothing effect on you. The surrounding greenery will, for sure, calm you down and fill you with positive energy.

We own 4 facilities with the following rooms:

1. Southern building: 5 rooms, WIFI, parking.

• STUDIO TYPE 4-bed room (two-room) no. 1 is an alternative for guests looking for a high standard of accommodation. 2 rooms with ensuit kitchen and a bathroom ensure complete privacy. Tenants, exiting through the balcony windows on the south side will find themselves in a sunny green area, of course only at their disposal.
• STUDIO TYPE room for 2-3-people no. 2 is an alternative for guests looking for accommodation in a high standard. The room together with its ensuit kitchen and a bathroom ensure complete privacy. Tenants, exiting through the balcony windows on the south side will find themselves in a sunny green area, of course only at their disposal.
• Double room no. 3 equipped with LG 32 ” TV, wardrobe, bedside tables and a bathroom. Access to the public kitchen and a green area in front of the room.
• Double room no. 4 equipped with LG 32 ” TV, wardrobe, bedside tables and an ensuit bathroom. Access to the public kitchen and a green area in front of the room.
• Double room no. 5 equipped with LG 32 ” TV, wardrobe, bedside tables and an ensuit bathroom. Access to the public kitchen and a green area in front of the room.
• Kitchen available to rooms No. 3,4,5, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, fridge, furniture, sink, dishes, pots, cutlery, washing-up liquid, cloths and sponges.

2. The apartment on the first floor with an independent entrance, a large terrace overlooking the lake and park in front of the house. Consists of: 3 rooms (for 2-3 people) with LED TV, fully fitted kitchen, 2 ensuit bathrooms, WIFI.

3. Cottages

1. STUDIO TYPE cottage for 3-4 people with ensuit  fitted kitchen, ensuit bathroom, TV, WIFI. A pleasant climate and interior design as well as full freedom for guests are guaranteed by independent entrance and a place in front of the house – a garden, where you can spend time together on a family vacation.
2. STUDIO TYPE cottage for 2-3 people with ensuit fitted kitchen, ensuit bathroom, TV, WIFI. Separate entrance to the room and fruit bushes allow for relaxation and complete rest on the Mat’Mar agritourism farm.

The cottages are equipped with window and door mosquito nets.

4. Apartment 

We have prepared an apartment (120 m2) on the first floor overlooking the landscape of Lake Lednickie.

Living room (approx. 70 m2) with a dining, TV and kitchen area, and 2 3-person rooms with bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, sink, cutlery, pots and plates. Possibility to organize small, intimate parties, birthdays, name days. The nearest catering facility is 5 km away – Dziekanowice.

In the summer season, we offer our guests a beautiful, colourful meadow by the water, where you can put up a tent and park a camper van.

Warning!

The fees apply to one day’s stay (the day lasts from 12:00 to 12:00 the next day). The price of the stay includes the fee for using the toilet, beach, children’s playground. There is a sink with drinking water on the campsite. Guests are required to comply with the regulations. Bathing beach and beach – Private only for guests staying at the Mat’Mar Agritourism. Garbage segregation applies throughout the facility.

On the premises there is a wireless WiFi network with Internet access available to our guests. There is also a  free parking lot and a garage. Additionally we provide a place for a bonfire or a grill. 

We have our own small strawberry plantation. We invite our guests to taste them during the season (June, July). Our agritourism farm is a great place to relax among nature near the city of Gniezno (https://meteor-turystyka.pl/noclegi,gniezno,0.html), which is located only 15 min. away by car.

Facility attractions

At our guests’ disposal: swimming pool, beach, two piers, vast 150 m meadow, place for a grill and a bonfire, gazebo, tables and benches. For active people: sports field, boat, pedal boats, kayaks – 500 m outdoor Herkules gym. For children: playground, sandpit, swing, slide, trampoline, football.

Attractions in the nearby area

In nearby Dziekanowice village there is an ethnographic museum with many interesting objects of folk art and crafts typical for the Polish village. Near the house where you will relax, there is a wooden, over 300-year-old church. In the nearby city of Gniezno, you can visit the Cathedral with the Romanesque „Gniezno Door” and the Museum of the Beginnings of the Polish State. A slightly longer trip will lead you to the historic village of Biskupin. On the other side of the lake you can go through the Gate of the Third Millennium „Fish”, which was created before one of the pilgrimages of John Paul II to Poland. Walking and cycling routes also run through the village of Waliszewo.

Food

We do not provide food. Grocery store – 3 km,  Biedronka and Dino supermarkets – 10 km, pizzeria – 10 km, inn – 5 km.

Location

The beach on Lednickie Lake: 50 m. Free entry through a nice park.
